I was only trying this Nike's Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 Women's Running Shoes just for size at a running shoes specialty store and I instantly knew I had to buy it. It's really very rare that you can sink your feet into a comfortable pair of shoes that do not feel like shoes at all. I sort of got that urge to get myself into some running action again because I finally found a pair of shoes that could carry me for miles.

You see I have this pronation issues which I couldn't solve because there doesn't seem to be any shoes that could keep my knees from hurting every time I run. I had stopped running about two years ago because I gave up on buying shoes that didn't work out well for running. I bought about five pairs, five different brands including a Nike. I bought them in different successions so I could sustain my running, but my knees still didn't get better and in fact worsened in every attempt. As expected, my doctor gave me advice to quit for awhile and let my knees heal by giving it time to strengthen.

I can say that Nike's Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 was different because cushion fit was responsive and instantaneous. My feet were neither too narrow nor too wide and have a high arch but this pair I am telling you about felt consistently comfortable whether I hit pavement or treadmill. It gave me confidence to try rocky terrain and was ready to feel that old familiar twisting pain in the knee area but it still wasn't there. I crossed my fingers and hoped that this pair of shoes will not give me trouble because I really like it so much.

Now, it has been almost two years since I bought a pair of Nike's Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 and I never stopped from running again. In fact, I even bought two more pairs not just to take advantage of its price but also to make sure my running will be sustained. The plus sign is for the iPod sensors but I really didn't care much about them because I was not keen on gadgets and everything. But my friend tried to convince me by letting me hear how her own plus sensors worked. By the way she bought her own pair of Nike's Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 but not until I had proven that they really work well for pronators like us.

Try as I might, some shoes just won't work even if they say it's for pronators because the ones I tried before worked out just fine for some of my runner friends. Now this Nike's Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 on the other hand came out well for me but didn't hit quite right with my other runner friends. They had high arches like me and regular width. They also said the cushioning was superb but once they had it for a long time the trouble starts. Fortunately, it didn't work that way for me.

The specialty shoe store explained something about the wearer's gait. The manner of bringing down the foot and taking stride also had something to do with it. I guess they key in getting the proper fit is to have your foot analysed first at a specialty shoes shop and let their high-tech machines analyse if the one you're trying on will work out for you. I think they were able to tell this by analysing the sole of your old pair of shoes and how the wear and tear was achieved.

Just the same, I made sure that I'm not going to run out of a good pair of running shoes again so I bought myself two more that I have tried out as well. Nike's Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 is light and airy and has the right cushioning for pronators with high archers like me.

I recommend that you buy it but first, have a specialty shoe store match your gait as well.
