Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10 Running Shoes

The Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10 Running Shoe was recommended to me by a local running shoes store. Actually I do not really run like real exercise runners do. I just run on my treadmills and I had no idea that I still had to wear a pair of running shoes.

I am a 40 year old grocery store owner, 6'2" and 220lbs and I have a very bad hip problem. My doctor says it is because of my weight, and that I need to exercise. That was when I was around 250 pounds. What can I do? I stay at the grocery store the whole day, sitting at my office. My doctor suggested running on treadmills, so I bought myself a treadmill.

I ran barefoot on the treadmill and I was supposed to run the equivalent of 3 to 4 miles everyday. The only problem was, I could barely manage a mile because my feet particularly my ankles as well as my knees hurt. I find it difficult to manage my stride and it almost made me think that the treadmill was defective. So I had to see a chiropractor this time.

My chiropractor was surprised that I did my running on the treadmill barefoot but he was not surprised that my ankles and knees were hurting. He said that I had high arches and the reason why I could not manage the treadmill was because I was running barefoot. So after the session with my chiropractor, I went to a local running shoes store. I asked the store clerk what he could recommend and the first thing he asked was what my problem was. I guess it was obvious with the way I limped with my pained ankle, the blisters and all. So that is the story why this Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10 Running Shoes became my shoes.

Now here is the story after Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10 became my running mate. I never realized that a pair of rubber shoes could make a difference. There was the matter of my high arches which Sauconys Progrid Hurricane answered by providing me cushioning and shock absorption from heel to forefoot. These Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10 has this particular technology that seemed to lock the midfoot snugly. That is why with the Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10 on, I had no difficulty with stability. In fact, the insoles felt superb, they felt springy like there is no effort to take each stride. The best part of all was that the treadmill was not defective.

Because my feet had high arches, it does not have much grip ability. In addition, since the Saucony had good snug fit, I was able to get the treadmill running without straining my legs and ankles. No blisters even. Thanks to Saucony, I developed a liking for running shoes and to Saucony in particular.

In fact I have a lot to thank for, Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10, made it possible for me to improve my running up to 8 miles per day ( still on the treadmill of course). No more bad hips, because I am down to 220 pounds. So my advice to you, if you are going to buy your first pair of running shoes, always asks a shoe expert. I would not have known about Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10, if I did not ask about this pair of running shoes.

If you will ask me, I highly recommend this Saucony Mens Progrid Hurricane 10.
